2017 Gas Statement of Opportunities, 2017 June Energy Supply Outlook and 2017 September update

The Gas Statement of Opportunities (GSOO) reports on the adequacy of eastern and south-eastern Australian gas markets to supply forecast maximum demand and annual consumption over a 20-year outlook period. The GSOO analyses transmission, production, and reserves adequacy, to highlight locations where new gas processing or transmission infrastructure, or field developments, may be required.

September 2017 Update to Gas Statement of Opportunities

This Update to the Gas Statement of Opportunities (GSOO) assesses the forecast adequacy of the east coast gas market and Western Australia gas market to meet forecast annual gas requirements for calendar years 2018 and 2019.

June 2017 Energy Supply Outlook

The June 2017 ESO provides an integrated assessment of gas and electricity supply adequacy for eastern and south-eastern Australia over the next two years. It updates the March 2017 GSOO and the November 2016 updates to the ESOO and the Energy Adequacy Assessment Projection (EAAP) .
