  • AEMO works with a broad set of stakeholders across the energy industry and recognises that each stakeholders may have different requirements of data services AEMO could provide.  AEMO believes that publishing and sharing data can create opportunities, and enable positive outcomes not currently envisaged and engaging with a wide audience will foster identification of these opportunities

AEMO’s intention is to work with stakeholders on a quarterly cycle to identify and prioritise high value data services to include in the Data and Information plan.  AEMO will engage with stakeholders through discussions in stakeholder consultative forums, with an invitation for individual engagement offered.

    AEMO invites stakeholders to:

    • Identify data that they believe will assist the market place.
    • Identify supporting information or standards to better enable use of data.
    • Determine the most effective methods stakeholders wish to access the data.

AEMO will prioritise and publish a forward delivery plan on data services within the scope of AEMO’s budgets and regulatory requirements.
