Independent Expert Report - Directions to QLD generators on 28 and 29 March 2017
On 28 and 29 March 2017, AEMO issued directions to generators in northern Queensland.
In accordance with NER Clause 3.15.7B (c)(1), AEMO is required to appoint an independent expert to assess and determine the compensation for the Directed Participant for additional claims that exceed the $100,000 threshold.
AEMO nominated an independent expert on 26 May 2017 with no objections received. AEMO then appointed Isaac Katz at Harding Katz Pty Ltd as the independent expert to determine compensation for Directions in Queensland on 28 and 29 March 2017.
