Participate in the market

To participate in the National Electricity Market (NEM), including associated trading activities conducted by AEMO under the National Electricity Rules (NER), you must register in one or more of the participant categories listed in the Registration section.

This section of the site therefore provides the application forms, guides, administrative information, documents and processes needed to become a Registered Participant in the NEM, as well as information for current participants.
