Ausgrid published the combined Distribution and Transmission Annual Planning Report 2014 on 19 December, 2014. With a five year forward planning horizon for the distribution network and a ten year planning horizon for the transmission (dual function asset) network, this combined report reflects the outcomes of the annual planning review of Ausgrid’s electricity network. The Transmission Annual Planning Report 2014 is presented as Chapter 12 of the combined report.
The purpose of this combined annual planning report is to inform Registered Participants, stakeholder groups and interested parties of the identified future network needs and the proposed and committed solutions to these needs, and the potential opportunities for non-network solutions, particularly for large investments where the Regulatory Investment Test for Distribution (RIT-D) applies.
