AEMO issued directions to generators in South Australia during billing weeks 37 to 40 2021

In accordance with NER Clause 3.15.7B (c)(1), AEMO is required to appoint an independent expert to assess and determine the additional compensation claims for the directed participant that exceeds the $20,000 threshold and exceeds the $100,000 aggregate threshold

AEMO nominated an independent expert on 8 December 2021 with no objections received. AEMO then appointed Euan Morton from Synergies Economic Consulting as the independent expert to determine compensation.
