AEMO declares a Forecast LOR3 condition under clause 4.8.4(b) of the National Electricity Rules for the SA region for the following period[s]:

[1.] From 0730 hrs 30/06/2025 to 0930 hrs 30/06/2025.
The maximum load (other than interruptible loads) forecast to be interrupted is 87 MW at 0800 hrs.

[2.] From 1700 hrs 30/06/2025 to 2300 hrs 30/06/2025.
The maximum load (other than interruptible loads) forecast to be interrupted is 112 MW at 1900 hrs.

AEMO is seeking a market response.

AEMO has not yet estimated the latest time it would need to intervene through an AEMO intervention event.

Inter-regional transfer limit variation - Darlington Point - Wagga No.63 330 kV line - NSW region - 23/06/2025

At 1719 hrs 23/06/2025 there was an unplanned outage of Darlington Point - Wagga No.63 330 kV line. The Darlington Point - Balranald No. X5 220 kV line consequently tripped due to a control scheme for the trip of the above line as per design.

1. From 0700 hrs to 0730 hrs 30/06/2025.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 600 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 350 MW.

2. From 1000 hrs to 1030 hrs 30/06/2025.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 406 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 334 MW.

3. From 1630 hrs to 1700 hrs 30/06/2025.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 459 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 230 MW.

The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1859 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1381 MW.

Participant Impact and Requirements: Planned maintenance will be conducted on the 23rd of June 2025, between 07:00AM and 05:00PM AEST on the core network infrastructure within the AEMO Market Network in Sydney.

During the change, there will be two instances of 1-3 second service disruption to MarketNet Services accessed via Sydney as traffic moves from the active to the standby load balancing unit. All Services should return to normal after this time. Traffic via Brisbane will not be affected during this time. AEMO recommends that all market participants with site to site VPN connections currently connected via Sydney, to switch these connections to the Brisbane site as a precaution.

Participants connecting via IPWAN and/or SSL VPN will be automatically connected to the Brisbane site and do not need to take any action.

Inter-regional transfer limit variation - Directlink No.3 Cable - NSW region - 20/06/2025

A planned outage of Directlink No.3 Cable in the NSW region was scheduled from 0700 hrs 16/06/2025 to 1700 hrs 27/06/2025.

The outage has been completed and Directlink No.3 Cable returned to service at 1210 hrs 20/06/2025
