A network augmentation has been commissioned in the NSW region at 2350 hrs 07/06/2025 as follows:
Culcairn Solar Farm substation has been cut into the existing Walla Walla - Wagga 6Y 330 kV Transmission Line to form the following circuits:
Culcairn - Walla Walla 6Y 330 kV Transmission Line
Walla Walla - Wagga 3G 330 kV Transmission Line

Cancellation of the reclassification of a Non-Credible Contingency Event: Para-Templers West and Magill-Torrens Island A 275kV lines in SA due to severe weather warning.
Cancellation of the reclassification of a non-credible contingency event as a credible contingency event due to severe weather warning.
AEMO considers the simultaneous trip of the following circuits is no longer reasonably possible. There is no longer any severe weather warning in the vicinity of the following lines. Accordingly its classification has reverted to a non-credible contingency event.
Region: SA
Lines: Para-Templers West and Magill-Torrens Island A 275kV lines
Cancellation time: 2345 hrs 7/06/2025
Constraint set(s) revoked: Nil

ACTUAL NEGATIVE SETTLEMENT RESIDUES - SA to VIC - 7 June 2025.
Electricity Market outcomes have resulted in the accumulation of negative settlement residues that have exceeded the allowable negative residue threshold for the SA to VIC directional interconnector.
The negative residue constraint set NRM_SA1_VIC1 commenced operating from 1505 hrs on 7 June 2025.
This constraint set contains an equation with the following interconnectors on the LHS:
V-S-MNSP1
V-SA
The RHS of the constraint equation may be adjusted to manage residues.

Reclassification of non-credible contingency event due to existence of widespread abnormal condition/s - SA region.
AEMO has identified that a non-credible contingency event impacting the power system is more likely to occur and is considered reasonably possible because of the existence of widespread abnormal conditions namely severe weather in the SA region.
AEMO has therefore reclassified the occurrence of a non-credible contingency event involving multiple plant due to these abnormal conditions as credible.
AEMO has taken the following action to maintain power system security at 1250 hrs 07/06/2025.
Constraint set invoked:
I-VS_250
Duration: 1255 hrs until further notice
Need for further measures is being monitored and further measures may be implemented in line with the Power System Security Guidelines (SO_OP_3715).
