Participant Impact and Requirements: The Gas B2B hub servers will be updated to support TLS (Transport Layer Security) 1.3 version. Also the legacy versions 1.0 and 1.1 will be disabled and not be supported going forward. Participants are required to use TLS 1.2 as a minimum protocol to communicate with AEMO, failing to do so will impact the connectivity. An outage is not expected but, there may be some minor interruptions during the change period.

Participants are required to make sure the connectivity is intact post change implementation. Incase noticed any issues, please reach out to AEMO Support Hub.

Non-credible contingency event - QLD region - 16/03/2025

At 1131 hrs the H35 Strathmore 132 kV No 2 bus tripped. Whitsunday Solar farm and Hamilton Solar farm were disconnected.

AEMO did not instruct load shedding.


The cause of this non credible contingency event is not known at this stage.
