A planned outage of Collector Windfarm - Yass (3L) 330 kV line in the NSW region was scheduled from 0600 hrs 17/02/2025 to 1600 hrs 24/02/2025.
The outage has been completed and Collector Windfarm - Yass (3L) 330 kV line returned to service at 0746 hrs 22/02/2025

At 1030 hrs the Capital WF A and C 330kV Buses were returned to service.
The cause of this non-credible contingency event has been identified and AEMO is satisfied that another occurrence of this event is unlikely under the current circumstances.
AEMO will not reclassify this event as a credible contingency event.

The NEM Local Temperature Alert Levels are:
Launceston Ti Tree Bend: 33 Deg C, Dalby Airport: 37 Deg C, for all other selected weather stations: 39 Deg C.
AEMO requests Market Participants to:
1. review the weather forecast in the local area where their generating units / MNSP converter stations are located and,
2. if required, update the available capacity in their dispatch offers or availability submissions consistent with the forecast temperatures.

AEMO did not instruct load shedding.
AEMO has not been advised of any disconnection of bulk electrical load.
The cause of this non credible contingency event is not known at this stage.

Planned outage of South Morang - Sydenham No 1 500 kV line in the VIC region beginning on 21/02/2025.
The South Morang - Sydenham No 1 500 kV in the Victoria (VIC) region is planned to be out of service from 0600 hrs on 21/02/2025 to 1700 hrs on 24/02/2025.
A credible contingency event during this planned outage could cause:
* A large reduction in generation in VIC; and/ or
* Restrict power transfer across the VIC - South Australia (SA) interconnector (Heywood interconnector).

The Moorabool - Sydenham No 1 500 kV line in the Victoria (VIC) region is planned to be out of service from 0600 hrs to 1600 hrs on 23/02/2025.
A credible contingency event during this planned outage may require market intervention, such as the issuing of directions.
