2019 Benchmark Reserve Capacity Price
AEMO has completed its draft determination of the 2019 Benchmark Reserve Capacity Price (BRCP). The BRCP for the 2019 Reserve Capacity Cycle will be effective for the 2021-22 Capacity Year, which starts on 1 October 2021 and ends on 1 October 2022.
AEMO proposes a draft value of $153,200 per MW per year for the 2019 BRCP.
AEMO requests submissions from all sectors of the Western Australian energy industry, including end users, on the draft report. Information regarding the submission process can be found in the draft report (available below). The deadline for submissions is 5:00 pm Western Standard Time on 24 October 2018.
