TransGrid together with Powerlink has published the Regulatory Investment Test for Transmission (RIT-T) Project Specification Consultation Report (PSCR).
This report details the need to increase the existing Queensland to New South Wales (NSW) interconnector capacity and describes credible options to meet the need including technical characteristics that would be required of a non-network option.
TransGrid and Powerlink welcome written submissions on the PSCR.
Submissions are due on or before 22 February 2019.
Submissions should be made via regulatory.consultation@transgrid.com.au.
