Independent Expert Report - Directions to a SA generator during billing weeks 5 - 8 2022

AEMO issued directions to generators in South Australia during billing weeks 5 to 8 2022.

In accordance with NER Clause 3.15.7B (c)(1), AEMO is required to appoint an independent expert to assess and determine the additional compensation claims for the directed participant that exceeds the $20,000 threshold and exceeds the $100,000 aggregate threshold.

AEMO nominated an independent expert on 2 May 2022 with no objections received. AEMO then appointed Euan Morton from Synergies Economic Consulting as the independent expert to determine compensation.
