Independent Expert Report - Directions to SA generators during billing weeks 45 - 48 2022

AEMO issued directions to generators in South Australia during billing weeks 45 – 48 2022. 

In accordance with NER Clause 3.15.7B (c)(1) and 3.12.2(l), AEMO is required to appoint an Independent Expert to assess and determine the additional compensation claims for the Directed and Affected participant that exceeds the $20,000 threshold and exceeds the $100,000 aggregate threshold.

AEMO nominated an Independent Expert on 6 February 2023 with no objections received. AEMO then appointed Sami Aoude from IES Advisory Services as the Independent Expert to determine compensation.
