Independent Expert Report - Direction to a SA generator on 16 November 2019

On 16 November 2019, AEMO issued a direction to a generator in South Australia. In accordance with NER Clause 3.15.7A (b1) for services other than Energy and Market Ancillary Services, AEMO is required to appoint an independent expert to assess and determine the fair payment price for those Directed Participants. AEMO nominated an independent expert on 11 December 2019 with no objections received. AEMO then appointed Euan Morton from Synergies Economic Consulting Pty Ltd as the independent expert to determine the fair payment price for the services provided by the Directed Participant on 16 November 2019.
