We’re excited to announce that AEMO’s new Learning Management System (LMS) for external stakeholders has launched.
At AEMO, we ensure that we have the best tools and systems at our disposal to keep pace with the rapidly transforming Australian energy landscape. As part of our commitment to proactive industry engagement, we’ve launched a new education system – the AEMO Learning Academy – to give stakeholders access to state-of-the-art systems for the best learning experience.
The AEMO Learning Academy launched on Monday 15th of July (the project commenced in September 2018) and will replace our former education platform, the AEMO Learning Centre.
With a new and improved design, AEMO's enhanced LMS will be mobile responsive for the first time, so users can enjoy a user-friendly experience with access to learning material (and the ability to view course dates, now including Wholesale Electricity Market courses) at the touch of a button.
In addition to the usual course offerings, users will also have access to a comprehensive catalogue of online and facilitated AEMO education courses.
Key new features of the system include:
- Course enrolment on behalf of colleagues
- Enrolment and payment for more than one attendee at a time
- Enrolment and payment for more than one course at a time
- New look National Electricity Market (NEM) and gas eLearning courses
For convenience, and to keep track of your learning history, any courses previously completed in the AEMO Learning Centre (from 1 January 2019) will automatically be transferred to the new LMS.
