Transmission augmentation information

The Transmission Augmentation Information workbook contains information for National Electricity Market (NEM) transmission projects that have a material impact on AEMO’s Integrated System Plan (ISP), Electricity Statement of Opportunities (ESOO) and Inputs, Assumptions and Scenarios Report (IASR). This workbook only contains transmission augmentation projects that are:

  • committed
  • anticipated
  • actionable projects or
  • future ISP projects with preparatory activities.

A transmission augmentation project is a project to expand the transmission system or to increase its capacity to transmit electricity.

AEMO expects to update the workbook approximately every 6 months.
