Compliance DER With Technical Settings 

This report describes the current state of compliance of DER with technical settings, focussing on compliance of distributed photovoltaic (DPV) inverters with AS/NZS4777.2. It outlines the potential implications of non-compliance with the technical standards and provides insights towards improving compliance. 

AEMO is seeking feedback on the data and analysis shared, and the recommendations proposed.

VPP Visibility Guideline

To support the VPP Visibility Guideline, AEMO has also published the VPP Visibility Guideline Explanatory Paper and Explanatory Note which is structured as:

Appendix 1 provides a high-level overview of the aspects of the Visibility Framework design that attracted the most feedback, some clarifications on the framework design and how AEMO has reflected feedback in drafting the guideline.

Appendix 2 contains the explanatory note, which summarises the purpose of each section and provides detail on the operation of each subsequent sub-section.

This Procedure Change Proposal relates to proposed amendments to the WEM Procedure: DER Register Information (Procedure).

The publication of this Procedure Change Proposal and the accompanying notice of call for submissions commences the Procedure Change Process conducted by AEMO under clause 2.10 of the Wholesale Electricity Market Rules (WEM Rules).

An overview of the proposed amended WEM Procedure was presented at the AEMO Procedure Change Working Group (APCWG) meeting held on 17 January 2023.
