STPASA - Update of the Forecast Lack Of Reserve Level 1 (LOR1) in the QLD Region on 07/11/2024
The Forecast LOR1 condition in the QLD region advised in AEMO Electricity Market Notice No. 119868 has been updated at 1400 hrs 05/11/2024 to the following:
From 1700 hrs to 1930 hrs 07/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1002 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 906 MW.

The Forecast LOR1 condition in the NSW region advised in AEMO Electricity Market Notice No. 119871 has been updated at 1400 hrs 05/11/2024 to the following:
From 1730 hrs to 1800 hrs 08/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1400 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1369 MW.

The Forecast LOR1 condition in the NSW region advised in AEMO Electricity Market Notice No. 119870 has been updated at 1400 hrs 05/11/2024 to the following:
1. From 1100 hrs to 1130 hrs 07/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1400 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1366 MW.
2. From 1200 hrs to 1230 hrs 07/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1400 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1183 MW.
3. From 1800 hrs to 1830 hrs 07/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1400 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1123 MW.

AEMO declares a Forecast LOR1 condition under clause 4.8.4(b) of the National Electricity Rules for the QLD region for the following Period:
[1.] From 1800 hrs 06/11/2024 to 1830 hrs 06/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1108 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 949 MW.

AEMO declares a Forecast LOR1 condition under clause 4.8.4(b) of the National Electricity Rules for the NSW region for the following Periods:
[1.] From 1700 hrs 06/11/2024 to 1730 hrs 06/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1400 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1137 MW.
[2.] From 1830 hrs 06/11/2024 to 1900 hrs 06/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1400 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1093 MW.

Project Energy Connect (PEC-1) testing 6th November 2024 for flows in both directions

There is an opportunity for testing Project Energy Connect (PEC-1) for flows in both directions up to 50 MW on 6th November from 07:00hrs to 11:00hrs
This test includes a trip and reclose of a line in South Australia.

NEM Local Temperature Alerts for QLD, SA from 05 Nov 2024 to 09 Nov 2024
AEMO's weather service provider has issued forecast temperatures equal to or greater than the NEM Local Temperature Alert Levels for listed weather stations below.
QLD
Dalby Ap (37+ Deg C): 5th Nov, 6th Nov, 7th Nov, 8th Nov, 9th Nov
SA
Port Augusta Ap (39+ Deg C): 5th Nov
The NEM Local Temperature Alert Levels are:
Launceston Ti Tree Bend: 33 Deg C, Dalby Airport: 37 Deg C, for all other selected weather stations: 39 Deg C.
AEMO requests Market Participants to:
1. review the weather forecast in the local area where their generating units / MNSP converter stations are located and,
2. if required, update the available capacity in their dispatch offers or availability submissions consistent with the forecast temperatures.
