PDPASA - Forecast Lack Of Reserve Level 2 (LOR2) in the QLD Region on 08/10/2024
AEMO declares a Forecast LOR2 condition under clause 4.8.4(b) of the National Electricity Rules for the QLD region for the following Periods:
[1.] From 1530 hrs 08/10/2024 to 1600 hrs 08/10/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 719 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 615 MW.
[2.] From 1730 hrs 08/10/2024 to 1900 hrs 08/10/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 692 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 475 MW.
AEMO is seeking a market response.
AEMO has not yet estimated the latest time at which it would need to intervene through an AEMO intervention event.

The Forecast LOR2 condition in the QLD region advised in AEMO Electricity Market Notice No. 118637 has been updated at 1000 hrs 07/10/2024 to the following:
[1.] From 1530 hrs 1600 hrs 08/10/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 783 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 608 MW.
[2.] From 1730 hrs to 1930 hrs 08/10/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 755 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 467 MW.

The Forecast LOR2 condition in the QLD region advised in AEMO Electricity Market Notice No. 118636 has been updated at 1000 hrs 07/10/2024 to the following:
[1.] From 1530 hrs to 1600 hrs 08/10/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 774 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 722 MW.
[2.] From 1700 hrs to 2000 hrs 08/10/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 738 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 280 MW.

Heywood testing (SA to Vic) 30th September 2024
There is an opportunity for testing Heywood Interconnector (HIC) flow from South Australia to Victoria above 450MW and Victoria to South Australia above 450MW on 30th September from 9:00hrs to 17:00hrs
This test includes a trip and reclose of a line in South Australia.

Walla Walla - Wagga 6Y 330 kV Transmission Line
