STPASA - Update to the Forecast Lack Of Reserve Level 1 (LOR1) in the NSW Region on 19/12/2023
The Forecast LOR1 condition in the NSW region advised in AEMO Electricity Market Notice No. 112251 has been updated at 1400 hrs 14/12/2023 to the following:
From 1430 hrs to 1530 hrs 19/12/2023.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1400 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 854 MW.

At 1350 28/11/2023 hrs Tungkillo- Robertstown No.1 and No.2 275kV lines and the Robertstown No.1 and No.2 synchronous condensers were reclassified due to the elements tripping at 0534 hrs 28/11/2023
The cause of trip was identified as due to lightning.
In accordance with SO_OP_3715, AEMO now considers the following elements to be vulnerable due to lightning.
Elements: Tungkillo- Robertstown No.1 and No.2 275kV lines and the Robertstown No.1 and No.2 synchronous condensers.
