The Forecast LOR2 condition in the NSW region advised in AEMO Electricity Market Notice No. 120988 has been updated at 0100 hrs 27/11/2024 to the following:
[1.] From 1200 hrs 28/11/2024 to 2130 hrs 28/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1367 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 489 MW.
AEMO is seeking a market response.
AEMO has not yet estimated the latest time it would need to intervene through an AEMO intervention event.

The minimum capacity reserve available is 728 MW.

An Actual LOR1 condition has been declared under clause 4.8.4(b) of the National Electricity Rules for the NSW region from 1630 hrs.
The Actual LOR1 condition is forecast to exist until 1930 hrs
The capacity reserve requirement is 1450 MW
The minimum capacity reserve available is 886 MW

At 1637 hrs Uranquinty Unit 12 tripped and at 1639 hrs Uranquinty Units 11 and 13 tripped.
AEMO has not been advised of any disconnection of bulk electrical load.
The cause of this non credible contingency event is not known at this stage.
