STPASA - Forecast Lack Of Reserve Level 2 (LOR2) in the NSW Region beginning on 19/06/2024
AEMO declares a Forecast LOR2 condition under clause 4.8.4(b) of the National Electricity Rules for the NSW region for the following periods:
[1.] From 0530 hrs 19/06/2024 to 0900 hrs 19/06/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1050 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 712 MW.
[2.] From 1600 hrs 19/06/2024 to 0130 hrs 20/06/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1082 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 592 MW.
[3.] From 0530 hrs 20/06/2024 to 1000 hrs 20/06/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1250 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 674 MW.
[4.] From 1600 hrs 20/06/2024 to 0100 hrs 21/06/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1253 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 591 MW.
AEMO is seeking a market response.
AEMO has not yet estimated the latest time it would need to intervene through an AEMO intervention event.

The Actual LOR1 Condition in the NSW Region advised in AEMO Electricity Market Notice No.117020 is cancelled at 1900 hrs 15/06/2024.

An Actual LOR1 condition has been declared under clause 4.8.4(b) of the National Electricity Rules for the NSW region from 1700 hrs.
The Actual LOR1 condition is forecast to exist until 1900 hrs
The capacity reserve requirement is 1780 MW
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1446 MW
