STPASA - Forecast Lack Of Reserve Level 1 (LOR1) in the QLD Region on 27/11/2024
AEMO declares a Forecast LOR1 condition under clause 4.8.4(b) of the National Electricity Rules for the QLD region for the following periods:
From 1730 hrs to 2000 hrs 27/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1116 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1033 MW.

The Forecast LOR1 condition in the NSW region advised in AEMO Electricity Market Notice No. 120719 has been updated at 1400 hrs 21/11/2024 to the following:
1. From 1430 hrs to 1500 hrs 27/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1400 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1232 MW.
2. From 1530 hrs to 2030 hrs 27/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1400 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 986 MW.

The Forecast LOR1 condition in the NSW region advised in AEMO Electricity Market Notice No. 120718 has been updated at 1400 hrs 21/11/2024 to the following:
1. From 1130 hrs to 1400 hrs 26/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1360 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 680 MW.
2. From 1900 hrs to 2030 hrs 26/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1400 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 788 MW.

The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1400 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1273 MW.

The Forecast LOR1 condition in the NSW region advised in AEMO Electricity Market Notice No. 120717 has been updated at 1400 hrs 21/11/2024 to the following:
1. From 1400 hrs to 1600 hrs 25/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1360 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 680 MW.
2. From 1900 hrs to 2030 hrs 25/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1460 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 730 MW.

Based on advice from the asset owner, AEMO no longer considers the simultaneous trip of all the generators at Darling Downs Power Station as a credible contingency event.
Therefore AEMO cancels the reclassification as a credible contingency event from 1430 hrs 21/11/2024.

No LOR3 condition is currently forecast in the STPASA period.
