Participant Impact and Requirements: Planned maintenance will be conducted on the 16th of December 2024, between 07:30AM and 05:00PM AEST on the core network infrastructure within the AEMO Market Network in Brisbane.

During there change, there will be two instances of 1-3 second service disruption to MarketNet Services accessed via Brisbane as traffic moves from the active to the standby load balancing unit. All Services should return to normal after this time. Traffic via Sydney will not be affected during this time. AEMO recommends that all market participants with site to site VPN connections currently connected via Brisbane, to switch these connections to the Sydney site as a precaution.

Participants connecting via IPWAN and/or SSL VPN will be automatically connected to the Sydney site and do not need to take any action.
