There is an opportunity for testing Project Energy Connect (PEC-1) for flows in both directions up to 50 MW on 21st November from 06:00hrs to 09:00hrs

This test includes includes a fast runback of Murraylink.

AEMO declares a Forecast LOR2 condition under clause 4.8.4(b) of the National Electricity Rules for the QLD region for the following period:

From 1830 hrs to 1900 hrs 26/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 746 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 721 MW.

AEMO is seeking a market response.

AEMO has not yet estimated the latest time it would need to intervene through an AEMO intervention event.

1. From 1530 hrs to 1730 hrs 25/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 730 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 28 MW.

2. From 1800 hrs to 1930 hrs 25/11/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 730 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 70 MW.
