Operating Protocol

In accordance with clause 3.1A.1, AEMO and the Network Operator have jointly developed an Operating Protocol to support the management of Power System Security and Power System Reliability. The Operating Protocol documents how AEMO and the Network Operator coordinate their operational responsibilities as well as the agreed Operating Boundaries between AEMO and the Network Operator. These boundaries are specified for the purpose of assisting AEMO to fulfil its function of ensuring that the SWIS operates in a secure and reliable manner in accordance with the WEM Rules.
