Historical Trades

The file below provides a complete list of historical trades. This data can be used to analyse market trends over time. If you are after a more simple and straightforward representation of price trends in the GSH, the benchmark price report (outlined below) may be more appropriate.

From June 2023 this file will be updated on a daily basis.

Market Reports (Public)

• Benchmark price report
  This report provides daily benchmark prices for the Wallumbilla and South East Queensland trading locations and is a key reference for the market. It shows the volume weighted average price per unit for all day-ahead trades that meet the criteria (if trades have occurred).
  Benchmark prices are finalised at the end of every gas day. A report producing non-firm benchmark pricing within-day is also produced and updated every 5 minutes. The Gas Supply Hub Benchmark Price Methodology document is available on the Exchange Agreement and Guides page.
  

• Daily transaction summary report
  This report provides a summary of all trades executed in the previous gas day. It provides information on the high/low open/close prices, total traded quantities and number of trades.

• Historical gas day transaction report
  The report provides a summary of all trades delivered in the last thirty gas days for each product location. It outlines the volume weighted average price, and the total traded quantities (if trades have occurred).

• Registered participants
  The report contains the registration details of all participants currently registered in the GSH market..
