The Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) is pleased to announce the appointment of Geraldine Leslie to the role of Chief People Officer, commencing September 2020.
AEMO Managing Director and CEO, Audrey Zibelman, said: “We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ms Leslie to our Executive Leadership team.
“She will play a critical role ensuring AEMO attracts and retains the capabilities needed to ensure a consumer-focussed energy transition is delivered. I look forward to welcoming her to AEMO and am sure she will make an invaluable contribution,” she said.
Ms Leslie comes to AEMO with considerable experience having served as Executive General Manager of People, Safety and Corporate Affairs at AusNet Services for the past decade.
In her career to date, Ms Leslie has been responsible for various strategy, operations and organisational development functions, having occupied senior leadership positions within the energy, resources, manufacturing and local government sectors.
Ms Leslie holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wollongong and is also a member of Australian Institute of Company Directors.
