There is no longer any Lightning activity in the vicinity of the Ross - Chalumbin 857 and 858 275 kV Lines.
AEMO has cancelled the reclassification of the simultaneous trip of those circuits as a credible contingency event at 0345 hrs 30/05/2016.

Lightning is occurring near the Ross - Chalumbin 857 and 858 275 kV Lines.
AEMO considers the simultaneous trip of those circuits to now be more likely.
Therefore AEMO has reclassified this as a credible contingency event from 0120 hrs 30/05/2016 until further notice.

A Bushfire exists in the vicinity of the Mudgeeraba Terranora 757 and 758 110 kV Lines in Queensland due to Bushfire.
AEMO has reclassified the simultaneous trip of those circuits to be a credible contingency event from 1015 hrs 29 May 2016 until further notice.
Constraint Set I-TE_ZERO invoked.

Lan-2-Lan VPN service restored to internet access point within AEMO QLD Datacenter
Impacts:
Participants connected to the AEMO QLD datacentre internet access point may have experienced issues as a result of the outage.
This issue has been resolved and the service is now available for use.
User Requirements:
Participants are reminded that service is restored to the QLD datacentre.
Both NSW and QLD datacentres are available for use and Participants can remain connected to their current internet access point.

This market notice is FOR INFORMATION ONLY.
There is short notice planned outage of Moorabool-Sydenham No.1 500 kV line and Sydenham-South Morang No.1 500 kV line between 0630-1600hrs on 29 May 2016 in Victoria region.
During this outage, following the next contingency (trip of the Moorabool-Sydenham No.2 500 kV line) South Australia region still remains connected to the NEM. However if this contingency occurs, AEMO will invoke the following FCAS regulation constraint sets to secure the power system in South Australia region:

Lan-2-Lan VPN service outage to internet access point within AEMO QLD Datacenter
Impacts:
Lan-2-Lan VPN Participants
Participants whom have established their VPN connection/s via the AEMO QLD datacenter termination point (202.44.76.10) will be unable to establish a connection.
Remote Access VPN Participants
Participants whom have established their Remote Access VPN connection/s established via the AEMO QLD datacenter termination point (202.44.76.8) will be unable to establish a connection.
User Requirements:
Lan-2-Lan VPN participants are encouraged to failover their VPN connections to the alternate AEMO NSW datacenter termination point (202.44.78.10).
Remote Access VPN Participants are encouraged to ensure they are connecting via the AEMO NSW datacenter VPN endpoint (202.44.78.8).

Participants who normally communicate with the Brisbane Control Centre are advised to utilise the backup telephone numbers or the alternative Sydney Control Centre contact numbers.
Further information will be provided when the problem is rectified.
