Victoria - New South Wales Interconnector System Integrity Protection Scheme is In-Service

AEMO ELECTRICITY MARKET NOTICE.

System Integrity Protection Scheme (SIPS) on Vic NSW interconnector (VNI) has been enabled by AusNet Services at 1045 hrs on 07/12/2021. The SIPS is expected to increase the reliability in Victoria by increasing the import limit of VNI from 1 November to 31 March. The following constraint equations have been invoked and will be activated when the SIPS is activated, based on system conditions.
