Remedial Action Scheme Guidelines
There are an increasing number of Remedial Action Schemes (RAS) being implemented across the National Electricity Market (NEM) to manage contingency events. AEMO and Network Service Providers (NSPs) have collaboratively developed RAS Guidelines.
Their purpose is to provide a reference of good electricity industry practice, and to summarise relevant National Electricity Rules (NER) obligations for NSPs, AEMO and Registered Participants in relation to the specification, design, modelling, testing and ongoing review of RASs.
