AEMO is responsible for the settlement of all Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM) transactions, other than energy and capacity that is bilaterally traded. AEMO is also responsible for monitoring Market Participants' market settlements transactions, to ensure each Market Participant has security to adequately cover their operational exposure in the market.

Market Participants who intend to submit a Notice of Disagreement for either a Short Term Energy Market (STEM) or Non-STEM Settlement Statement must lodge a Notice of Disagreement form found below. This form requires the information relating to clause 9.20.4 of the WEM Rules.
